THE TEAM

Here at Slovenske Vzdealvacie Centrum, we strive to help Slovakian based community or family or any individual to persue in courses to understand basic knowledge in life in the UK for them to progress.

Mgr. Mária Mušutová

Co-Founder | Chair of the Charity | Trustee | Curriculum and Slovak Language Teaching Developer for all ages.

Maria is responsible for developing the Slovak language curriculum for all ages, ensuring that students of various backgrounds and abilities receive structured and engaging lessons.

At SVC-SM, Maria focuses on

  1. 1)Chairing the charity and overseeing its development
  2. 2)Developing the curriculum for Slovak as a second language across all age groups
  3. 3)Leading and teaching the AM session for mixed-ability students
  4. 4)Managing administrative tasks and charity operations
  5. 5)Organising cultural events, trips, and workshops

Mgr. Denisa Amini

Co-Founder | Trustee | Advisor For Families Moving To Slovakia | International School Educator & Project Coordinator

Originally from Presov, Denisa spent nearly 20 years living in Manchester before moving back to Slovakia, where she now works at an International School in Kosice.

At SVC-SM, Denisa is dedicated to:

    Providing first-hand advice for families returning to Slovakia
  1. Supporting students transitioning between Slovak and UK education systems.
  2. Developing partnerships with Slovakian schools and educational institutions.
  3. Creating projects that connect Slovakian students abroad with schools in Slovakia
  4. Introducing Slovakian history in an engaging way through our programs.

Ingrid Harandza

Co-Founder | Trustee | Early Years Educator | SEN Specialist | Creative & Cultural Programs

Born in Rimavská Sobota, Ingrid has lived in Manchester for over 20 years. With a background in early years education, she is a qualified Early Years Educator and works as a teaching assistant in a UK primary school, focusing on young learners.

At SVC-SM, Ingrid is dedicated to:

    Providing specialized support for SEN students
  1. Teaching Slovakian to young children through play, music, and movement
  2. Leading creative, literary, and sports activities
  3. Organizing cultural events that bring Slovak traditions to life
